The Christadelphians - From the Greek words Delphos en Christos - "Brother in Christ"

The Bible

Entirely inspired by God. His spirit caused men to write his words

2 Timothy 3:16-17  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

God

A person, dwelling in unapproachable light

1 Timothy 6v15-16 which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

God manifest

Because God is unapproachable in person, he has revealed himself by his agents. Men, angels and pre-eminantly, His son the Lord Jesus Christ. They are his representatives, messengers or ambassadors. This the bible calls this God manifestation. Since Jesus and other men act on his behalf, they too are called , God and Lord, Elohim. John 10v33-36

The nature of man

Man is a creature formed from the dust of the ground and lives by the spirit power of God. Job 33v4. When that life power of God is removed (His breath) man dies and returns to the dust. Life is not everlasting, it passes away to nothing. Job 34v14-15. If immortality existed, it could never be a gift from God. Romans 6v23

The Soul

Soul in the bible only means one thing. A breathing creature. Once a person is no longer breathing they have no soul (life)  Hebrew word "Nephesh" and Greek word "Psuche". these words also denote various attributes and aspects of a living body.

Ecclesiastes 9:5-6  For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten. Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun.

The Spirit

The spirit is Gods universal power by which He knows all and sustains all. God and his son are referred to as spirit because they represent that which is the power and thinking of truth. John 4v23-24 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."  It refers to the law and the mind of God and His son as opposed to the mind of the flesh which opposes him.
